Resins are natural incenses that do not contain any additives. Resin incense is made from small beads of hardened tree saps such as copal or dammar. These can be mixed with other natural aromatics such as dried flower petals, wood chips, to create a blend that smokes and diffuses a scent when heated.

Natural resins are the original incense and give off a richer and deeper fragrance. Resin incense tends to have a stronger scent and even lingers longer than most other forms of incense. Resin is easier to control the strength of scent by how much and how hot you burn, it is easier to control a subtle longer fragrance.
