Collection: Palo Santo Sticks

Palo Santo has a gorgeous woody smell hinting of lemon and mint, it is a beautiful tool for smudging and clearing as it invites and uplifts positive energy as well as dispelling negative energy from a space.

It has been traditionally used for thousands of years by South American shamans and medicine-people for holy, ritualistic energetic cleansing, purifying and spiritual invocation.

HOW TO USE PALO SANTO

1. Palo Santo is similar to smudging, first set your intentions for the cleansing ritual.

2. Holding one stick, light it with a candle, match or lighter and allow it to burn for up to a minute before carefully blow it out, allowing the embers to create smoke.

3. Move around the space you wish to clear allowing the smoke to waft around. 

4. Once you feel your cleanse is complete, place the Palo Santo stick in a fireproof bowl and allow the embers to burn out.

Unlike sage that continues to burn for some time, Palo Santo will self extinguish after about 30 seconds and need to be relit throughout the ritual.
