Collection: Energy Cleansing

Smudging — burning herbs or resin to clear the energy of a space — is one of the oldest cleansing rituals across many cultures. The smoke is carried through a room, or around a person, with the intention of clearing stagnant energy and resetting the space, often finished by opening a window to let the old energy out.

Scents that pair well with energy cleansing, and why:

• White Sage — the most traditional smudging herb, used to clear and purify a space.
• Palo Santo — a gentler alternative to sage, associated with inviting positive energy rather than only clearing negative.
• Copal — a resin traditionally burned for spiritual cleansing and protection.
• Mugwort — used for cleansing and said to support intuition and dreamwork.
